Railroad Retirees

Railroad retirees annual picnic will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 23 at Saybrook Township Park. Bring a covered dish or something to share. All current employees in all departments, railroads and docks; retirees and families are welcome.

Rockwell Retirees

Rockwell Retirees annual picnic will be noon Monday at Saybrook Township Park. Bring tableware and a covered dish to share. Everything else will be furnished. For more information, contact Robert L. Turner of Ashtabula.

& Retirees



National Active and Re-tired Federal Employees Ashtabula Chapter 0624 will have a picnic 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Saybrook Township Park to celebrate the chapter's 50th anniversary. The meal will be provided. A program honoring those who formed and served the chapter will be observed. In attendance will be chapter sponsors, Ohio state officers and the regional vice president. Teamster Retirees

Reliance Retirees

Geneva Seniors



Geneva Area Senior Center, 62 W. Main St., is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Ongoing activities - - Mon-day: movie noon; Tuesday: bingo 10 a.m., exercise 11:30 a.m., pool 11 a.m.; Wednesday: coffee and entertainment 10 a.m. Thursday: 10 a.m. bingo/ cards, 10:30 a.m. blood pressure check, 11:30 a.m. exercise; Friday: 10 a.m. canasta, noon ceramics

Senior Center



Jefferson Senior Center, 11 E. Jefferson St., is open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Lunch daily 11:30 a.m.; sign up two days in advance.

Conneaut Seniors

Conneaut Human Re-sources Center, 327 Mill St., welcomes all senior citizens to free events for the Seniors Together program. Reservations are not necessary. Sign-in is 10:30 a.m. for 11 a.m. programs. Lunch is served noon Monday through Friday, with two-day notice required. Transpor-tation is available.

Community Seniors



Good Shepherd Luth-eran Church, 876 Grove St., Conneaut, hosts a community seniors group 10 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays of the month. Sessions begin with devotions followed by exercise or walking time, program, light lunch and fellowship. Free blood pressure checks are also available. For more information or to register contact program director Kathy Vaux-Paden at the church. Cost for lunch is $1.50. All area seniors are welcome.

Kingsville seniors

Kingsville and North Kingsville area seniors are invited to join Kingsville's senior group which meets 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Kingsville Public Library Welcome Center. Pinochle and other games are played, classes, bingo and more. For more information call the library.

Senior Center



Madison Senior Center, 2938 Hubbard Road, is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Programs: blood pressure checks 10 a.m. first and fourth Fridays, memory loss support group, 6:30 p.m. first Friday.
