SHERIFF

A male, whose age and address were not available, was transported from Ashtabula County Medical Center to Metro Hospital Sunday afternoon after he accidentally shot himself in the leg.

According to a report, the man shot himself in the left thigh with a .22-caliber pistol while attempting to retrieve the firearm from his pants pocket. The incident occurred in Denmark Township. He was transported to Metro by helicopter

• Three unlocked vehicles on Blair Avenue were entered over the weekend, according to a report.

Compact discs, cash and cigarettes were reported missing. A surveilance camera at one of the addresses caught a male in the act, according to the report.

• A 17-year-old male Lakeside High student was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest Tuesday morning, according a report.

The student was aggitated when he came to class, clinched his fist and was told to report to the school office. He overturned his desk and went into a hall, where the school's officer confronted the aggitated student, who struck the officer in his chest and resisted arrest.

• A Pymatuning Lake Road, Andover Township, resident reported finding a go-cart on her property. The woman said the cart did not belong to her and had been left there sometime after Sunday, according to a report.
