CONNEAUT POLICE DEPARTMENT

• An IPad reported stolen to Ashtabula police on Sunday turned up in Conneaut some three hours later, according to Conneaut police.

At 9:36 p.m., a Broad Street businessman contacted police about a man who was trying to sell him an IPad. Using a global positioning feature, the owner — an Ashtabula woman — located it in the city and was reunited with the mobile device at the city police station.

The woman said the device had been stolen from her vehicle, parked on Bridge Street in Ashtabula.

• An unoccupied vehicle was found in a ditch along Interstate 90 about two miles west of Route 7 Sunday afternoon, police said. The vehicle was towed, officers said.

• Charges are pending against a Buffalo Street couple who reportedly allowed their trash to blow off their property, police said. Officers were contacted by an angry neighbor early Sunday afternoon, according to a report.

• Two separate reports of tire damage to vehicles owned by Harbor Street residents were received Sunday afternoon, police said. Reports of slashed tires were received around noon and again at 4:10 p.m., officers said.

• A disturbance was reported around 2:30 a.m. at the Days Inn motel between management and a customer over a lost wallet, police said.

• A dog that broke its leash reportedly attacked another dog being walked on Evergreen Street shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday, police said. The owner of the attacking dog was warned to keep his pet secured, officers said.
