CONCORD TOWNSHIP — Sandra K. (Sandy Coy) Trask, age 70, of North Meyers Road, Geneva, Ohio, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Township.
She was born May 26, 1942, in Geneva, the daughter of Wilbert M. and Belle G. (Thompson) Coy and has been a lifetime area resident. A 1960 graduate of Spencer High School, she married Herbert Trask on August 19, 1961. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving her is her husband of 51 years, Herbert Trask; a son, Rodney (Melissa) Trask of Perry; a daughter, Stacy Spangler of Geneva; four grandchildren, Tasha, Mitchel, Kelsey and Rachel; five brothers and sisters, Samuel Coy of Brookfield, William (Jeanette) Coy of Geneva-on-the-Lake, Janet Bowser of Geneva, Doris Shahan of Painesville and Roberta (Robert) Weaver of Saybrook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Richard, Wilbert Jr., Guy, Sid and Claude; and four sisters, Joyce Legg, Leora Bigham, Eleanor Tenney and Louella Richards.
At Sandy’s request there will be no calling hours and there will be a Private Graveside Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital in Nashville, Tenn., or to the Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Road, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
