ERIE. Pa. — Vivian L. Fiesler, age 86, formerly of Lake City, Pa., died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Manchester Presbyterian Lodge.
Born in Ashtabula, Ohio, on April 21, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Harold L. and Gladys Newcomb Corbett. Vivian was an Ashtabula High School graduate.
She, along with her husband, ran the Fiesler-Pier Fruit Stand in Lake City. She also worked at Great Lakes Food, C.G. Woods, McFadden’s and Jackburn Manufacturing.
Vivian was a member of the 600 Club in bowling, a former Cub Scout den mother and a member of the Red Hat Society at Manchester Lodge.
Earlier in her life, she enjoyed roller skating, playing bingo and camping. She and her husband also enjoyed taking rides in the country to see the sites.
In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence C. “Stub” Fiesler in 2001; a daughter, Roberta Louise Courson; and a brother, Robert Alton Corbett, SSC, U.S. Navy.
She is survived by one daughter, Susan Earl of Erie; two sons, Lawrence C. Fiesler Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Lake City and Martin L. Fiesler of Dubuque, Iowa; two grandchildren, Mark Courson of McKean and Amanda Courson of Edinboro; and two great-granddaughters, Emily and Felicia.
Friends may call at the BURTON FUNERAL HOME, 525 Main St. East in Girard, Pa., on Friday, Nov. 30th, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Graveside Services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1st, at the Girard Cemetery.
