KINGSVILLE —
Raymond Andrew Rose, age 64, of Sheldon Ave., passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, in the Hospice Unit of Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 24, 1947, in Lakewood, the son of John L. and Lucille (Tabolski) Rose and had been an area resident most of his life.
A Catholic by faith, he spent much of his time at the Kingsville Public Library and participated in nearly all their events and activities. He enjoyed watching TV, listening to Elvis, singing Christmas carols, going on walks and to dances with his girlfriend, Theresa, and relaxing at Lake Shore Park while watching the ducks.
His survivors include his beloved girlfriend, Theresa Nalley of Kingsville; a brother, Jack (Barbara) Rose of Richfield; his brother-in-law, William H. Keehl of Deland, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews, including Kathy Pape of Conneaut and Kristen Carlton of Jefferson.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara A. Keehl; a niece, Kim Schanzenbach two weeks ago; and his parents.
A private family service will be held. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery, Ashtabula. No calling hours will be observed.
The family request contributions in his memory be made to the Kingsville Public Library, P.O. Box 57, Kingsville, Ohio 44048-0057 and they would also like to give special thanks to the Kingsville Public Library for the friendship and tremendous quality of life they provided for Ray.
