AUSTINBURG TOWNSHIP — Eunice E. King, age 93, of Timberwoods Lane, Austinburg Township, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Sharon Stephens.
She was born May 8, 1919, in Lonaconing County, Md., the daughter of Daniel and Vinona (Reece) Albright.
She had worked at TRW in Lake County where she had met her husband and also had worked at Broadmoor Center until her retirement.
She was a member of Austinburg First United Church of Christ, where she had been very active prior to her illness. She had enjoyed going to church outings, flowers, cooking, shopping and raising Chihuahuas for nineteen years. She loved going to Kirtland Fire Department dances with her husband while he was alive. She loved her new home in Austinburg; also going back to Perryopolis, Pa. to visit her sisters. She was a very kind, gentle and soft spoken person who loved taking care of her family.
Surviving her are her children, Ruth Johnson of Madison, David (Priscilla) King of Painesville, Frances (George) Spaid of Geneva, Sharon (Kaine) Stephens with whom she made her home, Kimberly (Joseph) Domino of Geneva and John Thomas (Sondra) King Jr. of Bexley, Ohio; a brother, David Albright of Medina; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Thomas King Sr. in 1988; and six sisters, Eleanor Sayre, Margaret Hawk, Helen Blackford, Alberta Marcus, Isabel Krukowsky and Gertrude Kinkopf.
Funeral Service will be held 8 p.m., Today, March 15th, at the Geneva Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 323 S. Broadway, Geneva, with Alisa Nierzejewski, Certified Celebrandt officiating. Private burial will take place in Kirtland South Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Today, at the Funeral Home.
