ESPYVILLE, Pa. — Eugene S. “Gene” Lipinsky, age 71, of Espyville, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Meadville Medical Center.
Born Dec. 12, 1941, in Welch, W.Va., he was the son of Eugene and Goldie Kume Lipinsky. He served our country in the U.S. Army as a helicopter mechanic.
Gene was a retired meat cutter. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Lipinsky; his mother, Goldie Lipinsky of Andover, Ohio; a son, Eugene C. “Gene” Lipinsky of Townville; a daughter, Paula Fitzgerald and her husband, Hank, of Heath, Ohio; four grandchildren, Chris, Elyssa, Kaitlin and Hank III; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Lipinsky and Kathy McPherson of Andover; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his first wife, Linda Lipinsky.
Calling Hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 1st, at ROYAL-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Espyville Cemetery.
