CONNEAUT —
Patricia L. Pratt, age 62, of Conneaut, Ohio, died at her home on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012.
She was born May 2, 1950, in Conneaut and was the daughter of Bertha M. (Taft) Stearns Sheldon and the late Jack D. Stearns.
A 1968 graduate of Conneaut High School, Pat was primarily a private caregiver, and had worked at one time for Sanger Realty and was a dietary aide at Inn-Conneaut and the Kremer Home. She enjoyed camping, going to casinos and garage sales, her dog, “Abby” and being with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her mother, Bertha Sheldon of Monroe Township, Ohio; two daughters, Khris Kamppi (and friend Luanne Ruehl) and Karen (Mike) Johnston, all of Conneaut; her son, Kenneth (Jesse) Kamppi Jr. of Conneaut; four sisters, Bonnie J. (Charlie) Moore of North Kingsville, Ohio, Linda L. (Ed) Gaugh of Conneaut, Becky A. (Kenny) McDonald of Conneaut and Renae (Sam) Schmidt of Girard, Pa.; her brother, David (Donna) Stearns of Cranesville, Pa.; her step-mother, Mildred A. Stearns of Girard, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, “Abigail.”
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Stearns; and her step-father, Arnold L. Sheldon.
Funeral Service will be 12 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 9th, at MARCY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with Pastor Elaine Turner, of Amboy United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Calling Hour will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the Service at Noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
