PAINESVILLE —
Iona G. Myers, age 79, of Painesville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
She was born Dec. 4, 1932, in Wendel, W.Va. Iona was a member of Faith of Tomorrow Church in Painesville. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Mrs. Myers had worked at RB&W in Mentor and previously at IRC Fibers in Painesville. Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Myers; sons, Robert (Linda) Myers Jr., William (Pamela) Myers and Terry (Deborah) Myers; daughter, Mary (Robert) Smith; grandchildren, Kelly Myers, Robin Corbe, Heather and Kevin Smith, Christopher Murphy and Brian, Michael and Jennifer Lester; great-grandchildren, Chase Smith, Ella Jewett, and Andrew, Nicholas and Ashley Neubecker; and a sister, Carolyn Sue McCauley (Donald) Tolles.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Aire Shepard, Anne Reid, Sylvia Gallager, Bernice Miller, Viola Mayle and Edna McCauley; and brothers, Warren, Gerald, Harold, Richard and Carroll McCauley.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 8th, at Faith of Tomorrow Church, 120 Oakwood Boulevard, Painesville. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7th, at POTTI FUNERAL HOME, 1009 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
