John Edward Cogar Sr., age 78, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012.
John was born June 27, 1934, in Worthington, W.Va. and served in the U.S. Navy, during the Korean Conflict on the USS Shasta.
He was a retired Bridge and Building Foreman for Conrail, where he was employed for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elaine (Tomana); children, Victoria D’Orazio, John Cogar Jr. and Jeffrey Cogar; seven grandchildren; brothers, Sanford Cogar and Robert Cogar.
A private memorial service was held July 26th, at Walker Funeral Home in Geneva, Ohio. Interment at Harpersfield Cemetery, Harpersfield, Ohio.
