NEW LYME TOWNSHIP — Nora Janke, age 74, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at UH-Geauga Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 16, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of James and Anna (Chappell) Pearce.
Nora was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Ashtabula and participated in the church Seedline Ministry. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and was a Girl Scout Leader.
Survivors include her husband of many years, Larry Janke; children, Donald (Belinda) Adams, James Adams, Penny (John) Altman and Ed (Elaine) Janke; brothers, Clifford, John and Frank Martin; sister, Juanita Brown; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Gretchen; and infant sister, Janice.
A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Larry Emery, of the Bible Church of Ashtabula, will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1st, at PAINE-GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio 44076.
Visitation will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. the same day prior to the Service at the Funeral Home.
