PHOENIX, Ariz. — Jayne D. Tinney Danylchuk, age 39, of Phoenix, Ariz., died unexpectedly of probable spinal meningitis, Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.
She was born June 28, 1973, in Conneaut, Ohio, a daughter of Robert J. Tinney and Christine (Cheney) Tinney. A 1991 graduate of Conneaut High School, she was a Veteran of the military, serving 8 years and 4 months in the United States Air Force. She completed her Associate Degree in Criminal Justice through the University of Phoenix.
Jayne had a love for dogs, fostering several over the years. Jayne enjoyed the water; many weekends were spent at Elephant Butte Lake in New Mexico with her closest friend, Roberta. Jayne enjoyed outdoor activities including hiking and rock climbing. As a child, she enjoyed family camping trips in the Allegany Mountains, Pa. Jayne also enjoyed bowling, cooking, watching movies and listening to music, one of her favorites was “Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone”.
Although Jayne did not have children of her own, the love she had for her niece and nephews she expressed sincerely. Living away from her family, she requested pictures and updates often. Jayne was a caring, giving and beautiful person, who had a free spirit and a loving heart. Jayne is loved by her family and friends and will be missed dearly.
Jayne is survived by her parents, Christine Tinney of Geneva and Robert Tinney (Carmel) of Conneaut; sisters, twin Jill (Gregory) Miniard of Geneva and Sara Forester of Conneaut; brother-in-law, Wayne (Jeannie) Rice of Albion, Pa.; niece and nephews, Christopher Jr. and Logan Forester, and Jillian and Shayne Miniard; step-nephews, Brandon Rice and Dawson Butts; and Chelsea Loucks.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra L. (Tinney) Rice; and grandparents, Lucinda and Russell Cheney, and Connie and Carl Tinney; and her two beloved dogs, “Abby and Mac.”
Funeral Service will be 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5th, at MARCY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with Tim Kraus, of the Church of Christ, officiating.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, at the Funeral Home.
