STREETSBORO — Warren L. “Dan” Fetterman, age 74, passed away at his home, Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Fetterman was born April 6, 1938, in Lake City, Pa.., the son of Irvin John and Dorothy (Erdman) Fetterman. He attended Conneaut High School, Class of 1956 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy.
Dan was employed as a technician and supervisor with Western Reserve Telephone Company in Ashtabula, Ohio and the Alltel Telephone Company in Hudson, Ohio, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Streetsboro VFW Post #9716 and he enjoyed golfing and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Wilma N. (Louden) Fetterman, whom he married on Dec. 28, 1957; son, Timothy (Vicki) Fetterman of Bedford, Ohio; granddaughter, Ashlee Hicks; great-grandson, Braxton Lee Scharbrough of Portsmouth, Ohio; and a brother, Gary (Carol) Fetterman, of Del Rio, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Irvin John Fetterman.
Graveside Services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 13th, at LuLu Falls Cemetery in Kingsville, Ohio, with Michele Tibbens officiating. Military Rites will be performed by American Legion Cowle Post #151.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12th, at THOMPSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 345 Main St., Conneaut.
