ASHTABULA — Kimberly Marie Milano, age 56, of Myrtle Ave., passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at her home.
She was born July 14, 1956, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Carl James and Marlene Alberta (Sassen) Dolwick and had been an Ashtabula resident since she was 12 years old. A graduate of Edgewood High School, she married her high school sweetheart, Christopher Milano, on Sept. 25, 1976.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Kim loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. The best cook in the family, she enjoyed making meals and watching cooking shows on television. Her diverse love of music found her listening to many different artists, but she was especially fond of Rush and Barbra Streisand.
She was truly blessed in life to have such a special relationship with her grandma, Alberta “Ma” Sassen.
Her survivors include her beloved husband of 36 years, Christopher S. Milano; three children, Christopher Michael Milano of Ashtabula and Anthony Gerald and Katie Marie Milano, both of Columbus; two grandchildren, Crystal Rose and Christopher Ryan Milano; her parents, James and Marlene Dolwick of Chandler, Ariz.; one sister, Donna Armstrong of Ashtabula; one brother, James Dolwick of Sevierville, Tenn.; and two very special nieces, Megan and Michelle Armstrong.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Madge Dolwick and Robert and Alberta Sassen; and her sister-in-law, Debra Dolwick.
A Service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 10th, at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 3140 E. Center St. (SR 20), North Kingsville.
Calling Hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9th, at ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula.
