WILLIAMSFIELD —
Dwayne Allen Crites, age 38, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Hamot Medical Center with family by his side.
He was born June 2, 1973, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, the son of George Crites and Emily Smith. He was married to Lisa (Miller) Crites on Sept. 11, 1998.
He was employed at Ellsworth Construction in Jefferson. Dwayne was an avid fisherman and took pride in helping others and enjoyed his children’s sporting events and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Miller) Crites; father, George Crites of Stockport, Ohio; mother, Emily Smith of Powell, Tenn.; children, Olivia, Ericka, Monica, Savannah and Dwayne (Dj) Crites and William Lewandowski; siblings, George (Kim Vondrasek) Crites of Middlefield, Sherry (Tony) Holloman of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Melinda (Rick Kilen) Crites of Clearwater, Fla.; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Matthew and Thelma Smith and Everett and Anna Belle Crites; and his uncle, Vincent Smith.
A Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Robert C. Gears will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4th, at Andover Christian Church, 150 Stillman Ave., Andover, Ohio.
The family will be receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of Service at 2 p.m., with a dinner to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Lisa Crites. Envelopes will be available at the church.
