ROCK CREEK —
Jean Elaine Pirc, age 70, died Friday, June 15, 2012, at Jefferson Healthcare after short illness.
She was born March 4, 1942, in Rome, the daughter of Guy Howard and Gertrude (Arner) Moyer.
Jean was retired as office manager for the Social Security Administration after 33 years of service. She was a resident of Rock Creek for 45 years and was active in her community. She was a former member of Rock Creek Village Council, Rock Creek Union Cemetery Board, South Central Ambulance District Board, Orwell Gun Club Woman’s Auxiliary and a Girl Scouts Leader.
She loved being outdoors, gardening, feeding the birds and especially spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia (Allen) Hagan of Rocky River; three brothers, Roy H. (Jeanette) Moyer of Ashtabula, Gary L. (Gail) Moyer of Sprackers, N.Y. and Dale L. (Chris) Moyer of Jefferson; and nieces, nephews and her beloved cats, “Casper and Gray Kitty.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Howard and Gertrude Lucille Moyer. Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 19th, at PAINE-GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 3119 W. Water St., Rock Creek, Ohio
Funeral Services officiated by the Rev. Sandy Seaton-Todd will take place at the Rock Creek Union Cemetery Chapel, Stiles Ave., Rock Creek, on Wednesday, June 20th at 10 a.m.
