LAKE CITY, Fla. — Joyce Garner, age 66, a resident of Lake City, Fla., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, after a short illness. The Ashtabula, Ohio, native was of the Protestant faith.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Martin E. Garner of Lake City, Fla.; mother, Betty Straw of Jefferson, Ohio; two sons, Josh Garner of Lake City, Fla., and Jason Straw of Gainesville, Fla.; two brothers, Chuck Straw of New Port News, Va., and Jim Straw of Grants Pass, Ore.; and two grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25th, at First Baptist Church in Lake City, Fla., with the Rev. Robert Bass officiating.
DANIELS FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATORY, INC., of Live Oak and Branford, Fla., are in charge of arrangements.
