CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Bernard W. Freeman Sr., age 87, of Chambersburg, Pa., died on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Manorcare Health Services in Chambersburg.
Born Feb. 7, 1925, he was a son of the late Edward and Bertha Burkhart Freeman.
He was a U.S. Navy World War II Veteran and retired as a truck driver.
Surviving are three sons, Bernard (Becky) Freeman Jr. of Ohio, Larry (Diane) Freeman of Chambersburg, Pa., and Cecil Freeman of West Palm Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Tammy (Boi) Tran, Larry Jr., Gary, Richard, Chris and Cecil T. Freeman; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Marion Norman and Bertha Althabers; and a brother, Edward Freeman.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10th, at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
