DENMARK TOWNSHIP — Richard M. Lingham, age 78, of Stanhope-Kelloggsville Road, Denmark Township, died Monday evening, Dec. 24, 2012, at his residence.
He was born August 23, 1934, in Littleton, Mass., the son of Phillip and Dorothy (Hodgson) Lingham and had resided in this area since 1971, coming from Randolph, N.Y. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was married to the former Wilda Hartley on May 8, 1959.
Mr. Lingham owned and operated his dairy farm in Denmark Township and was a member of Pierpont Presbyterian Church and Ashtabula Co. Farm Bureau.
He is survived by two daughters, Laura J. Lingham of Columbus and Donna L. Lingham of Stow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip in 1991 and Dorothy in 2007; his wife, Wilda in 2001; and a sister, Jean Wakeman earlier this year.
Funeral Services will be held 3 p.m., TODAY, Dec. 29th, at the Jefferson Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with Pastor Earl Vautin officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until time of Service, TODAY, at the funeral home.
Committal Services will take place 1 p.m., Monday, at Greene Co. Memorial Park in Jefferson, Pa.
