GENEVA — David Driscoll, age 53, a resident of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Geneva Village Retirement Community in Geneva, Ohio.
Born Feb. 23, 1959, in Ashtabula, Ohio, he was the son o Anna (Lanich) and James Driscoll. On Oct. 31, 2009, he married Deborah Irons in Geneva.
A fire fighter for 18 years, David was a lieutenant in the Geneva Fire Department. He was also employed at the Huron Road Hospital where he worked as a Carpenter and Locksmith.
A Member of the Geneva Fraternal Order of Eagles, David loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He loved watching football and golf and had been a midget league football coach in Ashtabula. He also enjoyed camping and was always there to lend friends and family a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Driscoll of Geneva; daughter, Lauran (Jimmy) Dungan of Geneva; son, David Driscoll of Fairborn; step-daughters, Jennifer Kenny of Painesville and Jessica Kenny of Geneva; grandchildren, Camlyn, Lily and Emery; mother, Anna Driscoll of Geneva; brothers, James (Penny) Driscoll of Ashtabula and Rick (Tracy) Driscoll of Bolivar, Ohio; and sister, Diane (Ward) Giannini of Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his father, James.
Private family services will be observed.
