The Lakeside boys dominated the Ashtabula County Invitational at the Spire Institute.
The Dragons rolled to the championship with 250 points, besting Edgewood’s 109 points, Jefferson’s 95 points and Grand Valley’s 20 points.
Dragons coach Maureen Novak was elated with boys in their strong finish as last year as they lost to Jefferson by a narrow margin.
“Our boys knew this is our time of the season, and despite some kids out sick, swimmers rose up and got the job done,” she said.
Edgewood captured the girls title with their 239 points, outdtistanced second-place Lakeside (215) points, followed by Jefferson (73).
