The Amboy Rifle Club returned from its bye and struggled in its match against visiting Albion, Pa., dropping the actual, 1,967-1,882, and the handicap, 43-36.
Leading the way in the actual were Calvin Johnson (386), Dennis Mitchell Jr. (381), Chad Holden (370), Greg Hahn (365) and Zack Laugen (362).
Shooting best in the handicap were Laugen (10), Rachel Santee (10), Seth Santee (10), Hahn (4) and Johnson (2).
Amboy (1-2, 1-2) will invade Corry, Pa. on Friday at 8 p.m.

Lakeside rolls past East
One of the great lessons in sports competitions is to play with the maximum effort in utilizing your own skills and talents. It’s a lot easier said than done, but the Lakeside Dragons got a full dose of it Thursday afternoon as they tangled with a youthful and inexperienced group of Panthers from Youngstown East in a Division I sectional semifinal ballgame. The Dragons came out on top, 12-0.
