Conneaut

Offensive Player of the Week — Andrew Goudge—10 carries for 64 yards, as well as 1 catch for 40 yards and a rushing TD.

Defensive Player of the Week — Chris Poore — 13 total tackles, 1 interception, 1 fumble caused and 1 fumble recovered.

Special-teams Player of the Week  — Jackson Distlerath — 1 blocked kick and 3 tackles on special teams.



Edgewood

Offensive Player of the Week — Devin McCaleb — 90 yards on 17 carries.

Defensive Player of the Week — Christian Severino.

Special-teams Player of the Week  — Matt Anderson — 3 kickoff returns for 59 yards; 2 punt returns for 10 yards.



Geneva

Offensive Player of the Week — Jake Bowser — completed13 of 36 passes for 175 yards, 1 touchdown.

Defensive Player of the Week —  Kyle Woerner.

Special-teams Player of the Week  — None.



Grand Valley

Offensive Player of the Week — Joe Satterfield — 8 rushes for 40 yards, 5.0-yard average;  4 receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown.

Defensive Player of the Week —  Adam Moodt, outside linebacker — 4 solo tackles and 7 assists. Shutdown defender in man coverage.

Special-teams Player of the Week  — Mason Berkey — In on the tackle on all 3 kickoffs, blocked strong on 3 kickoff returns,  blocker on the extra points.



Jefferson

Offensive Player of the Week — Running back Scott Davidson (180 yards on 17 carries, 46-yard TD run) and the offensive line — Dan Meaney, Ryan Hayes, Jeremy Stiles, Andy Santiago and Joe Isenberg.

Defensive Player of the Week — Steve Ludwig, senior linebacker — 12 tackles, 1 assist, 1 forced fumble.

Special-teams Player of the Week  — None.



Lakeside

Offensive Player of the Week — Brendan Hester.

Perry

Offensive Player of the Week — QB Mitchel Hokavar 17-25  passing, 247 yards,  2 TDs;  13 carries for 102 yards rushing with 3 TDs.

Defensive Player of the Week —  Ryan Phelps — 7 tackles, 2 for loss.

Special-teams Player of the Week  — Mickey Parker – Blocked punt and 38 return yards.



Pymatuning Valley

Offensive Player of the Week — Running back Nick Marshall 17 carries for 135 yds 2 TDs; also was lead blocker for Josh Kirby's 76 yards rushing.

Defensive Player of the Week —  Austin Nowakowski — 5 tackles, 1 tackle for 2-yard loss, and 2 pass breakups.

Special-teams Player of the Week  — A.J. Kovach — 4 punt returns for 50 yards.



Riverside

Offensive Player of the Week — Quarterback John Watson, making his first start under center as a sophomore.

Defensive Player of the Week — LinebackerJoe Palmer.

Special-teams Player of the Week  — Anthony Bilal. Had 80-yard kickoff return to tie the game against Perry at 7-7.

    Riverside wrestling coach Scott Blank learned a good deal of what he knows from Edgewood coach Greg Stolfer as a former Warrior great. Thursday, he used a bit of that knowledge to get the better of his old coach as the Beavers bested the Warriors, 31-28, at Edgewood.

    Madison recovered from coming out on the short end of a pin in the first match of the night by taking six of the next seven matches against Geneva and capped the night with pins from their last pair of grapplers in dismantling the Eagles, 49-17.
