Emily Lower pitched six innings with eight strikeouts and shut out the Conneaut A’s, 8-0, for the Geneva Rockers on Monday night during a major league softball game. A double play by the A’s concluded the game.
Megan Rood had two triples and three runs scored for the A’s. Megan Tessmer, Jordan Sanford and Kayla Masirovits each added a double for the team. Kalin McGee of the Rockers had two hits.
n Ashtabula Marlins 11, Madison One 10 — Cassidy Mollick had eight strikeouts on the mound for the Marlins (5-1). Kylie Orrenmaa, Reilly DeGeorge and Katie Boomhower each had a double to bring their team to a win. Courtney DiDonato added two hits. Sydney Sins and Eileen Ambrase both had two hits to lead Madison at the plate.
n Ashtabula Red Sox 4, Cork 1 — Alyssa Donato’s two-RBI double followed by Syndney Kaydo’s RBI double and Toni Stranman’s RBI single lead the Redsox to a victory in the sixth inning. Donato had 15 strikeouts on the mound for the win. Mickenzie Wilber of Cork had 13 strikeouts before being relieved by Dani Zapp. Emily Debrig had the lone hit for Cork.
n Ashtabula Cardinals 11, Kingsville 1 — Ashten Noce threw a one-hitter for the Cardinals (2-4). She also homered among two hits. Giana Varchette and A’dria Mathers each added two hits. Kate Crook had the only hit for Kingsville.

Mathew DiDonato of the Ashtabula Phillies had six strikeouts on the mound for a 8-4 win over the Ashtabula Yankees. Mason Lilja (double, 3 runs), Dan Hough (2 hits), Antoine Jones (double) and DiDonato (2 hits, double, 2 runs) all had big days at the plate for the Phillies (2-6). Matt Lunghofer had a double for the Yankees (6-).
n Ashtabula Indians 17, Braves 5 — Noah Sams smashed four hits, including three doubles, Kramer Getce and Vince Smith each reached base four times, scored four runs and had two hits. Jordan Isenberg had three hits, including a triple and a homer, and Adam Fedler and Garrett Vaught each reached base twice. Shane Welton smacked a three-run homer for the Braves.

Ty Winchell doubled among three hits and drove in four runs, Greg Osburn drove in four with two hits and Michael Leonhard scored four times to lead the Ashtabula White Sox past the Orioles, 20-11.
Junior BB
Reagan Potts, Victor Tuttle and Andrew Lesperance combined on a no-hitter as the Ashtabula Tigers defeated the Pymatuning Valley Cardinals, 6-1. Potts struck out 13 in five innings and Tuttle fanned three in 12⁄3 innings for the Tigers (7-1). Shawn Gilbert had two hits and Louie Wisnyai and Tuttle each had two RBI.
