Celine Pollander threw a one-hitter and an eight-run first inning by the PV offense gave the Lakers a 15-0 Northeastern Athletic Conference victory Thursday over Bloomfield in a game which lasted just five innings.
Pollander faced just 18 batters, struck out 14 and walked just one. Jenn Tennant homered among among two hits, drove in four runs and scored twice to lead the offense for PV (13-5, 9-1), while Courtney Jock doubled, drove in four runs and scored twice, Amber Pomeroy scored three runs, Brittany Jock cracked two hits and scored twice, Kayla Landis drove in two runs and scored twice and Lyndsay Carr also scored twice.
