Chardon's Caitlin Kahl was the lone local qualifier to the District tennis tournament from the
Division I and Division II sectionals at Brush.
Kahl placed fourth in the Division I tournament and will play in the District tournament at
Oberlin College beginning on Thursday.
Kahl fell to Mentor's Ashley Frey, 6-0, 6-0, in the semifinals Saturday before dropping her
third-place match, 6-1, 6-0, to Krissy Hallett of South. She advanced to the semifinals with wins
over Lakewood's Bailey Mueller, Mentor's Lindsay Oliver and South's Carly Holloway
