Great Outdoors takes challenge

The Great Outdoors Store won the championship in the Sports ’n Sports Challenge Tournament at Softball City. The runners-up were FOE Eagles, followed by third-place Elite Employment and fourth-place GMR Technologies.

Leading hitters for The Great Outdoors Store Leading were tournament MVP Mike Johnson, who hit .642 with four homers and 9 RBI, Joe Coxon, who also batted .642 with a home run and six RBI, Zachary Graf, who batted .571 with seven RBI, Andy Juhola with a .545 average and three RBI, Tyler Baker with a .545 average and three RBI, Jayson Aponte with a . 538, average, one home run and three RBI. Mark Miklos hit .538 with two homers and six RBI, Nick Armeni with a .500 average, three homers and nine RBI, Randy Vencill a .500 average and four RBI, Jimmy Dennis, a .500 average and three RBI, Damien Hunt, a .500 average, Josh Cooper, a .500 average and C.J. Graf a .312 average and an RBI.

The Great Outdoors Store batted .526 as a team and blasted 11 long balls.
