Each of the volleyball teams in Ashtabula County found at least a little bit of success. And each of those teams were led by members of the Star Beacon All-Ashtabula County team.
Edgewood senior Katie Thomas led her team to a 19-2 record and Geneva’s Chelsea Scafuro paced the Eagles to a 16-7 mark. The duo share Player of the Year honors.
The Warriors’ Dave Fowler is Coach of the Year.
Members of the first team include Angie Zappitelli and Lexi Zappitelli of Conneaut, Taylor Diemer, Anna Applebee and Abby Pisano of Edgewood, Christa Cash of Geneva, Bailey Beckwith and LeeAnn Farr of Jefferson, Heather Brant and Michealia Skleres of Pymatuning Valley and Reilly DeGeorge, Mackenzie Stenroos and Brenna Powers of St. John.
The second team includes Conneaut’s Lydia Coccitto and Emilee Bucci, Edgewood’s Jaime Rogers and Judith Silvieus, Geneva’s Emily Ball, Kirstie Otto, Allie Penna and Kylee Corlew, Grand Valley’s Thommie Jackson, Jefferson’s Hayley Allen and Alyssa Irons, Lakeside’s Paige Halsey and Sharisse Hunt, Ally Workman of PV and St. John’s Alivia Cimorelli.
