The 2012-13 high school basketball season will see the curtain drop on it tonight at Lakeside Gymnasium.
The annual Star Beacon-Ed Batanian Senior Classic games will be played.
The contests will feature the top senior players on teams in the Star Beacon coverage area.
The girls game, pitting Team Medusa against Team Athena, will tip the evening’s festivities off at 6 p.m..
The boys game, featuring Team Apollo and Team Zeus, will follow 15 minutes after the conclusion of the boys game.
Both games will be broadcast live on WFUN. Admission is $5, with $4 for senior citizens. No passes will be honored.
A 3-point shooting contest will be held at halftime of both contests, with two players from each team cometing.
