Jefferson’s junior high girls basketball squads split an All-American Conference twinbill Monday at Campbell Memorial.
Coach Andy Lipps’ seventh graders emerged victorious, 23-16, as southpaw point guard Colleen Hurst led all scorers with 10 points.
The eighth graders came up a point short, 23-22, as mighty Mya Perry had 8 points and Gabi Pridemore was next in line with 6.
Both Jefferson squads will play at LaBrae on Wednesday.
