Phil’s Catering escaped with a win, 67-65, and remained unbeaten as Glazier Insurance missed a 3-pointer at the final buzzer Geneva Men’s Basketball League play Sunday.
Phil’s Catering (3-0) finished the game with just four players after Devon Johnson fouled out.
Odell Parker connected on six treys in totaling 29 points, Johnson scored 14 and Scott Aston added nine for Phil’s Catering.
Alex Brininger and Scott Rakes each scored 10 points Glazier Insurance (0-3).
n CBC Construction 57, Bula Ballers 45 — CBC Construction (2-1) was 19 of 28 (67.9 percent) from the free throw line, while Bula Ballers (1-2) were just 10 of 21 (47.6 percent).
Jaime Presciano netted 18 points, Andy Juhola added 15 and Dave Golen scored eight for CBC Construction.
Shawn DeCola and Dane Malys each scored nine points and Jeff Dinger added eight for Bula Ballers.
n Main Attraction 53, Snoop’s Lounge 37 — Brandon Hanna tallied 15 points and Tony Williams and T.J. Bowler each added nine for Main Attraction (2-1).
Damien Hunt scored nine and LaMar Miller added eight for Snoop’s Lounge (1-2).
Glazier Insurance will play Bula Ballers at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, CBC Construction will battle Snoop’s Lounge at 1:30 and Main Attraction will try and mark up Phil’s Catering’s unblemished record at 2:30.
