JEFFERSON —
Plans to build a new McDonald’s at the corner of East Walnut and North Chestnut streets are being discussed with the land owner, Village Administrator Terry Finger said Tuesday.
The property is the site of the former Wooden Nickel bar, now a gravel lot surrounded by cement barrels, Finger said.
McDonald’s has given the Village a conceptual drawing and talking to the Historical Society, Finger said.
Edward Utterback owns the property, according to the Ashtabula County Auditor’s web site.
