LENOX TOWNSHIP —  An Andover man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident late Tuesday night on Route 11 in Lenox Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Joshua Klemencic, 20, was taken to St. Joseph Health Center in Andover, and then was flown by helicopter to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, said OHP Trooper Jason Hayes. A call to a hospital representative, seeking comment on Klemencic’s condition, was not returned Wednesday.

Klemencic was traveling south on Route 11 when he lost control of his pickup truck and left the right side of the highway about a half-mile south of Route 307, Hayes said. The vehicle rolled over, and Klemencic was ejected, according to reports. The vehicle came to rest in a ditch.

Troopers and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene around 9:04 p.m.

Klemencic was the only occupant and was not wearing a seat belt, Hayes said.

The accident remains under investigation, Hayes said.

A section of Route 11 southbound near the crash scene was closed briefly to traffic after the crash, according to reports.
