Turns out Hurricane Sandy is proving a trick, not a treat, in some communities..
As of Monday afternoon, Ashtabula, Ashtabula Township, Conneaut and Saybrook Township had delayed their trick-or-treat observances from Wednesday to Saturday because of the risk posed by the historic storm. More postponements are possible.
Here are the updates:
• Ashtabula — 4-6 p.m. Saturday
• Ashtabula Township — 4-6 p.m. Saturday
• Conneaut — 5-7 p.m. Saturday
• Plymouth Township — 4-6 p.m. Saturday
• Saybrook Township — 4-6 p.m. Saturday
