ASHTABULA —
Chromaflo Technologies, the largest independent global supplier of advanced colorants and chemical dispersions for the paint, coatings and thermoset plastics industry, has appointed Kane Henneke as the business director of coatings, Americas.
Henneke will report to Scott Becker, president and chief executive officer.
“I look forward to Kane leading our coatings business in the Americas,” Becker said. “His entrepreneurial drive and enthusiasm to meet customer needs will blend well with or vision for the future of the company.”
Henneke brings more than 15 years of experience in a wide variety of disciplines, including operations management, sales and marketing, and product development. Most recently as global business manager for an ink and coatings company, Henneke had the leading role to actively grow business and direct sales through corporate initiatives, internal project teams and new market product launches.
As business director, Henneke will be responsible for planning and implementing sales initiatives, and overseeing marketing and technical service in the coating’s markets throughout North and South America.
“I’m truly looking forward to developing strategies and forming worldwide partnerships with coatings manufacturers,” Henneke commented. “Additionally, we will be looking to expand our support network throughout the two continents.”
Chromaflo Technologies, with its headquarters in Ashtabula, is the combination of the former Plasticolors Inc. and the Colortrend colorants business. It has production facilities in the United States, Canada, The Netherlands and Australia.
