GREENVILLE — A Conneaut woman is awaiting a Monday preliminary hearing after her arrest on a variety of charges stemming from an alleged armed robbery in December of 2008, states a Pennsylvania State Police press release.
Kelly Ann Pearson, 26, of Conneaut, was
arrested Dec. 21 in Ohio by U.S. Marshalls from Erie and extradited to Mercer, Pa., the release states.
Pearson is accused of entering Shawkey’s Market at 7:56 p.m. Dec. 8, 2008, and pulling a semi-automatic hand gun from her purse and pointing it at a female employee, according to information provided by the state police.
The press release states that Pearson threatened to shoot the employee and demanded all of the store’s money. It also states that Pearson fled the store on foot to a waiting vehicle.
After her recent arrest Pearson was arraigned before Magistrate Brian Arthur in Greenville, Pa., on charges of robbery, aggravated assault, theft by unlawful taking, firearms not to be carried without a license, terroristic threats, possessing instruments of crime and recklessly endangering another person, the press release states.
Pearson was remanded to Mercer County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond pending the Monday morning preliminary hearing, the press release states.
