MADISON TOWNSHIP — Overwhelming interest in the history and what some suspect as paranormal activity in the Ohio Cottage building has opened the doors to guided tours where guests can investigate on their own for evidence of paranormal activity.
It is encouraged that guests bring cameras, EVP and voice recorders, video cameras and any other device to capture images and sounds of which eyes and ears can not typically hear. Flashlights are recommended for evening and overnight tours.
Daytime Experience Tours
Daytime experience tours are held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday or on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
This is a slow-paced, guided tour with time allowed for paranormal ìhot spotî investigation.
n Tour cost: $8 per person
n Approximate tour length: 45 minutes
Evening Experience Tours
Evening tours are held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
The building will take on a whole different look and feel during the evening hours. This will be a repeat of the daytime tour but at an even slower pace during this most sinister time.
n Tour cost: $15 per person
n Approximate tour length: 1 hour
Ghost Adventure Overnights
Peruse the building at your own pace on Friday or Saturday night to investigate paranormal activity on your own.
Your night begins at 9:30 p.m. with a guided tour of the building. Then, you are free to conduct your own research throughout the entire building. Pizza and beverages will be provided at 1 a.m. Continue investigating until the early morning comes at 4 a.m. Many believe the building is haunted; maybe you will have an experience here also.
n Tour cost: $40 per person, limited to 10 persons maximum. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling 1-800-220-9707.
Cash and all major credit cards are accepted. A credit card hold is required for the overnight adventure.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour times. All tour times are subject to change. Please call ahead to check times.

Tours and overnights are not recommended for pregnant women or young children. There are many steps throughout the building.
Money collected will be used to refurbish areas of the building.
