ASHTABULA —
A months-long undercover drug operation by the Ashtabula Police Depart-ment led to two arrests and the discovery of a large methamphetamine lab Friday night.
A woman and her boy-friend, both of 5717 Wood-man Ave., Apt. 43, opened the door at about 10:55 p.m. and allowed police to search the apartment.
Police discovered drugs, drug products and a meth lab inside the apartment. The man and woman were arrested and charged with felony drug charges, according to police reports.
Citizens’ complaints led to the drug bust, police said.
Ashtabula Fire Department assisted at the scene Friday night.
