Beacon upgrades Web site
The Star Beacon, which 15 years ago started one of the first newspaper Web sites in northeast Ohio, will be revamping its Internet site this week.
The target date for the changes will be Wednesday.
Visitors to the site will notice a cleaner, easier-to-maneuver home page.
There are links along the far left for easy access to other pages, including pull-down menus for features and information that may not necessarily need to be on the home page, such as older content.
The new site, using the same service as the previous site, now permits the Star Beacon to more easily place links to outside Web sites and utilize type faces more.
It is part of the Beacon's continually revolving commitment to both its digital and print editions.
Check it all out at www.starbeacon.com Wednesday morning..
