ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP —
One of the blossoms of spring is the Ashtabula County Home Show.
Mark your calendar and make plans to attend the Home Show, March 2-4 at Ashtabula Towne Square, 3315 N. Ridge E. Organizers say you can marvel at landscape displays and get ideas and help for home improvement projects.
This is the 23rd annual show by the Ashtabula County Chambers of Commerce.
“Stop and talk to the experts at each of the exhibit, pick up helpful information and register for numerous prizes,” said Sue Ellen Foote, show coordinator.
Foote is especially excited to offer something new at this year’s show, she said.
“Although we have always offered a drawing for prizes, we have decided to increase the value and number of prizes we will offer this year as added incentive to come to the show,” she said.
Grand prize No. 1 will be a $500 gift certificate that can used at any Home Show exhibitor, and grand prize No. 2 will be a $500 gift certificate that can be used at any Ashtabula Towne Square store. Ten third-prizes will be given out: $50 gift certificates to Ashtabula Towne Square stores.
“Not only will this increase traffic, but it will offer an opportunity for one or more of the exhibitors to earn a return on their investment in the show,” she said.
So far, 20 businesses have signed up for the Home Show. They are: Basement De-Watering System, Shepp Electric, USA Waterproofing, Ash Craft Industries, Home Safe, Crystal Clear Water, Chestnut Homes, Stanley Steamer, American Cancer Society, Gazette Newspaper, Media One, Home Depot, Brobst Landscaping and JS Hardscape, Cherry Valley Furniture, Vietnam Veterans, WSA Weather Sealco, Apple Heating, Ashtabula County Community Action and Radioactive Electronics.
The Home Show will be open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. March 2-3, noon-5 p.m. March 4. Admission is free.
