ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP — A car driven by Deborah French, 54, of Ashtabula struck a car driven by Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Deputy Sheri Allen, who was on her way to a burglary call, Saturday afternoon on Garrison Road, according to Ohio Highway Patrol reports.
Allen was transported to the hospital and her condition was unavailable at press time.
The crash is still under investigation.
