County grand jury indicts 10 people


EFFERSON — Ten people were indicted Friday by an Ashtabula County grand jury on various felony charges, including aggravated arson, tampering with evidence, kidnapping, domestic violence, driving under the influence of alcohol and drug-related offenses.

The indictments were filed by the Ashtabula County Prosecutor’s Office and were made public Monday by the Ashtabula County Clerk of Courts.

The following persons were indicted:

n Marcus T. Wacker, 31, of 145 Poplar St., Conneaut, is charged with aggravated arson, a second-degree felony;

n Dale L. Tackett, 42, of 5718 Wright St. No. 3, Kingsville, is charged with operation of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs of abuse with two forfeiture specifications, a fourth-degree felony;

n Jose Aponte, 19, of 1027 W. 37th St., Ashtabula, is charged with tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; and obstructing official business, a fifth-degree felony;

n Gary M. Stefanick, 45, of 38 Melrose Drive, Painesville, is charged with kidnapping, a first-degree felony; and domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony;

n Chad W. Fenton, 27, of 1024 W. Eighth St., Ashtabula, is charged with felonious assault, a second-degree felony;

n Taiwan A. Brown, 33, of 5906 Runkle Ave., Ashtabula, is charged with possession of drugs (cocaine), a fifth-degree felony; and tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony;

n Tradale L. Moore, 20, of 265 North Ave., Geneva, is charged with having weapons while under a disability, a third-degree felony;

n Mark D. Wilson, 35, of 7317 Clearmount Drive, Mentor, is charged with two counts of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a third-degree felony;

n Terry L. Cicco, 48, of 1616 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, is charged with breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony; and

n Todd C. Pearson, 45, of 18 West Wind Drive, Conneaut, is charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or a drug of abuse, a first-degree misdemeanor.
