CONNEAUT —
Winners have been announced in the second annual Downtown Conneaut Snowman contest, sponsored by Conneaut Area Chamber of Commerce and UH Conneaut Medical Center.
Honors were bestowed in three categories, and the first-place choices were: Fire Station 1 (non-commercial); Linda Reardon (individual) and Buccia Vineyard (commercial). Reardon won last year’s top finisher in the individual category.
Judges were CMC’s Kelly McGinness and Stacy Aunger, Key Bank manager.
Other contest participants include:
• Commercial — State Farm Insurance, Conneaut Courier, H&R Block
• Individual — Laurel Tope, Lenora Toth, Billie Gee
• Non-commercial — Conneaut Manor Tenant Association, Conneaut Local Youth Organization, Conneaut Public Library, Conneaut Girl Scout Troop 80956, Conneaut Community Soup Kitchen
The entries will be displayed along downtown Main Street for the next several days
