The informational meetings on establishing a Western Reserve National Heritage Area have been canceled.
The meetings were to have been held with representatives from the National Park Service at 4 and 6 p.m. today in the old courthouse, Jefferson.
If there is sufficient local interest, the meetings will be rescheduled for early March. Otherwise, Ashtabula County residents are encouraged to attend the meeting in Warren at the Trumbull County branch of Kent State University, 4 and 6 p.m. Feb. 17.
The meeting will be held in Lecture Hall A, near the clock tower. The campus is located at 4314 Mahoning Ave., NW, Warren.
