MONROE TOWNSHIP —
Open Studio event to commemorate Make-A-Difference Day and benefit the Ashtabula County Humane Society will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27 at the studio of artist Sandy Shelenberger, 6859 Bushnell Road (Route 84), in Monroe Township.
The work of area artists — including Ukrainian eggs, gourds, mixed media, jewelry, chocolates, hand-dyed scarves and fiber art — will be featured. Demonstrations will be held and refreshments, raffle and items will be available to assist the Humane Society. Animals available for adoption through the Society will be on hand to greet visitors.
