CONNEAUT —
A woman in her 20s was flown to Cleveland by helicopter after she was pinned by her car to a parking-lot sign pole Thursday evening, according to a Conneaut firefighter.
“We had a person trapped by a vehicle. She got pinned between the car door and a handicapped (sign),” he said.
The firefighter said the woman was trapped for at least 10 to 15 minutes around 6 p.m. in the UH Conneaut Medical Center parking lot. He said she was pinned after the car started to roll.
Firefighters from Station 1 and Station 3 were able to extricate her and a helicopter was called to transport her, he said. The helicopter arrived around 6:50 p.m.
