HARPERSFIELD TOWNSHIP — Growth Partnership for Ashtabula County featured 16 businesses, organization and individuals for their contributions to the county during the 24th annual Best of the County Awards on Tuesday at Spire Institute.
“While just one night out of the year, it is important we take time out to acknowledge those doing fantastic things to help our community grow,” Growth Partnership director Brian Anderson said. “This year’s group of award winners and finalists also demonstrates the diversity of our local economy and that Ashtabula County has much to be proud of and look forward to in the future." Award winners and finalists highlighted:
Lifetime Achievement Award Winner — Steve Walling, former president & CEO, Plasticolors
Walking was selected for the Lifetime Achievement Award based on his leadership of Plasticolors from 1995 until his recent retirement and his support of numerous non-profit and economic development initiatives in Ashtabula County and Northeast Ohio.
