On March 31, the first Princess Ball was held at the Jefferson Community Center to raise funding for the Longest Day of Play slated for Saturday, June 23rd, at Lake Shore Park.
The event was an overwhelming success with some 400 people in attendance and 10 beautiful Disney Princesses on hand to greet, sign autographs and give special attention to the many little girls who came out for this special day. It was a magical day to say the least.
I want to thank all the committee members for all of their help in planning this special event. Without their dedication and energy, this event would not have happened. A special thank you to Kathryn Whittington, Pat Fritz, Ralph Penna, Barb Bosely, Donna Jones, Sal Jackson, Diane Marjenin, Rebecca Robinson, Tim Essig, Chris.
