Ok, I've read all the letters written to this page, and I've agreed with all the sentiments in support of President Obama's policies and agenda.
So I have decided it is time to actually do something to make sure this president is re-elected. It is easy to sit in front of your computer and pound out words on a page- and they are important to set the record straight, but this election is going to literally come down to the people we can get to the polls on election day and "pull the lever" for Obama. I have decided this election is our last chance to save the middle class from extinction. This is not a hyperbolic statement, it is a fact. As middle class Americans we feel our lifestyle slipping away more every day, but it is not because of this presidents policies- it is what happened in the last administration and what will happen again except on steroids if Romney becomes the President. Please realize that you can make a difference- you have to — we need your help. I stepped up to the plate and Im asking all of you — factory workers, teachers, firefighters, police officers, public and private employee-men,women,minorities you all have something at stake in this election- Does anyone really believe that the tax cuts for the wealthy have created enough new jobs on their own over the last 10 years. Why would it be a good idea to continue what doesnt work? It is a fact that 1 in every eight jobs in Ohio are related to the auto industry- saving the Auto Industry has been this states saving grace- not anything Kasich has tried to do with more tax breaks for the "job creators", at the expense of public employees jobs. Romney wanted to just let the auto industry go under-free markets and all that blahblahblah. Come on people in Ashtabula County rise to the call- we need people to get out the word what a Romney presidency will do to this country and to the middle class. We can deliver this county to President Obama on election day-it is ours to lose! You and I can do this. Please contact me at barackobama.com - go to volunteer - click on dashboard and see Teams-click on the leader in your neighborhood or go to mine in Conneaut and email me. Seriously it only takes a few hrs a few times to make a difference -help before we the "middle class" go the way of the dinosaurs.
